Ruby...am quite jealous of your new kitchen, my last refit 9 years ago didnt workout as I wanted it to, so would like to rip it out and start again.....wont happen any time soon unfortunately.

Hope that Mr TA is feeling better.

Have a vat of stew cooking as I have about 14 for lunch tomorrow and thought that it would be the easiest option.DD4 ismaking an apple crumble and I will make a rhubarb sponge to serve with custard an cream.....if anyone is hungry it wont be my fault!

Dinner tonight is leftover chicken pie for me, everyone else has eaten........we have 3 grandchildren here....have just realised the time, so will wish you all a pleasant evening.

Thank you for the birthday wishes, my birthday was on Thursday. Thanks to OH I did not get my birthdAY treat hence the cake from my friend yesterday.

Evening all.

Hugs to all those in need. Belated happy birthday to Csarina.

I started to post t h is morning but got distracted, probably by one of the DGC'S, they have both gone home now. Dgd loved going through the Oracle shopping center on the boat as she has seen the river so often front the bridge.

We are now moored at Sonning just after the lock, we had burgers for our evening meal and we are now having a relaxing evening with our books. My windchimes are working overtime, they are inside but there are a lot of big posh boats going passed way too fast.
But I find the rocking quite soothing.
