Good morning everyone, thanks to nmlc and hugs to anyone that needs one.
I'm off to stay with friends overnight so I've had a lazy morning. I'm really looking forward to it and hopefully the weather will be good and we can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular views from their garden.
I hope everyone has a good day x0 -
Well done you! Food shop for me this week was £75 which pleased Grump, however, I've just been in Tesco and spent a further £25...Mainly stuff for the Grandchildren.butterfly2507 wrote: »Just got back from vacation yesterday and I'm proud to say that I didn't even spend half the money I took with me. Now granted they didn't have any good shops but mostly souveniers stands but still. Very proud!
Grump:. "Can we give the baby chocolate?"
Me:. "No, she's only 4 weeks old"
Grump: "ice cream then"
Me: "No, only milk"
Grump: "Never mind, next time we have her we can give her a pork chop"
Me:. "I think not, I've been asked to have them at the end of September. She will still be on milk".
Grump: "I'm not keen on babies"
Me: "Don't you think I know? I can count the amount of nappy changes you did for ours on one hand"

Good afternoon everyone
Happy Birthday csarina, 21 again
. Hope you are having a lovely day and enjoying your cake xx
Well I am shattered. I decided to go into town this afternoon and all three of the girls wanted to come with me. We walked all over the town looking at various things and I got persuaded into buying them each a lovely notebook as they have all inherited my love of stationery. I also bought myself a new perfume as I don't wear makeup but love to wear scent. Anyway, by the time we caught the bus home I was exhausted so Steve is treating us to pizza for tea.
The sun has come out here and we are all in a much better mood. Hopefully this will continue over the weekend.
Hooray, the pizza has arrived, cue the teenage stampede any minute now :rotfl:.0 -
Hi all,
We had a lovely last day in Frome yesterday. Loved the quirky little vintage shops and a fair few craft and wool shops too so I was a happy bunny. The drive back from Somerset today was a little longer than we expected. Awful M25 gets us every time. Dog is now fast asleep on his bed and glad to be home I think. He didn't really settle as I think the holiday homes glass doors confused him - he kept walking into them lol.
Have spoken to my dad who has been allowed home for a few days provided he doesn't feel dizzy or become unwell. Hoping to be discharged on Tuesday.
We have a party to go to tonight and I've put on half a stone this week so I'm overjoyed to be squeezing into something dressy (not!). Would love to just stay home and watch the athletics but a good friend of DHs will be there. He lives abroad but helped us out with money at Christmas when DH was out of work, so we do need to see him whilst he's here.
Happy birthday to csarina xx
Dumpling - glad you and the girls had a good day xx
Judi - good luck my dear xx
Have a good evening all

Evening all
Well it's been a funny old day. DH and I went out of town shopping this morning to get a specific toy for DGS. Couldn't find it anywhere so will have to resort to buying online, however I managed to talk DH into getting a new phone for his birthday ( not till Sept but we're on holiday again ) because I'm fed up of him moaning " I can't put any apps on or where's the photo I took yesterday gone !". This has been going on for months and now he's trying to give me his old phone . If it isn't working properly why would I want it!
Anyway had a call from DD to call in on the way home, as they have a new puppy. He's a Cavapoo and his name is Jasper. He's jet black with a white streak going from his mouth and under his tummy, looks like he's dribbled milk down himself :rotfl:. He's the most chilled out dog I've ever seen. ( I have spent the last hour or so trying to put a photo on here but I have given up, even DH failed
.
Holly I'm glad that you are taking the tablets and had a reasonable sleep last night
Csarina a very Happy Birthday :bdaycake:P.s. any chocolate cake left ? I know I'm being cheeky but it's my favourite
Dumpling I'm glad that you feel a bit happier, long may it continue.
TA hope Mr TA has a swift recovery, please give him my best wishes.
Judi good luck for tonight, I bet they'll be angels for you.
To those going gallivanting - enjoy yourselves to the max
Enough wittering or it will be bed time before I finish this. Enjoy your evening everyone and hugs to those that want or need one.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
Don't know how I managed to miss that it was CSARINA's birthday but I did and I'm sorry. In my defense I'll just say this week I haven't known if I was on this earth or Fuller's half the time. So I hope you are having a Happy Birthday CSARINA!
Lovely to hear you had a nice day out with your girls DUMPLING. You deserve one.
Have a nice evening folks xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
