Quick question - If your programs wont start, what did you use to scan for virus and malware ?
And what was the item that was found and removed ?0 -

Just remembered. I scanned before the comp shut down. All seemed to work. It found " gerenic Jonnie". Right click on start OK. However, settings will not open.0

If you can right click on start, you can get to shut down and sign out ..
Hold down shift and click restart
= safe mode0 -
Thanks for all your help so far. I am now in safe mode. Going to try and open some programs.0
