Sorry about spellings im on my phone . It states she has been awarded basic rate mobility.0

Ok my mistake on the back of the form she was awarded 10 points for moving arounf so yes 10 points awarded on appeal gor mobility
Then yes she will get the standard rate of Mobility payment, maybe you need to make another telephone call.
You confused us with your post so maybe you confused the call handler you spoke to today?0 -
Maybe she did but they should have all paperwork in front of them they just told her she needed 12 points and were only going to pay her basic rate daily living which she gas always had but no mobility and no backdated payments0

Well if she gave her National Insurance number over the telephone then yes they would see her award but if she just told them that she had 8 points and it had been increased to 10 then they would have told her she needed 12 points for enhanced.
Like I said you confused us by stating she had 8 now she has 10 so maybe she did the same.
Tell her to call again.0 -
Phone again.
Have the decision letter in front of you.
Tell them exactly what award the tribunal has decided on (It seems to be standard rate daily living and standard rate mobility).
Ask them if they have received the decision notice from the tribunal service, when the mobility backdate can be expected, and when monthly payments will start for her mobility award.
Hopefully, you will get someone more sensible at the DWP for this phone call.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
Thank you sorry for confusion i had no idea how it works and not sure she did anyway we are a bit more wise now thanks for help0

Yeah I would call them up... sounds like they're stalling on backdating/changing the award. The tribunal will have looked at her entitlement for both daily living and mobility and it sounds like they've awarded 8 points for DL as in the decision appealed against but now 10 points instead of 0 for mobility. She should thus continue getting standard DL but also backdated standard mobility.. and of course going forward payments for standard rates of both.
It does sound like you might have confused them when you spoke to them... however I would have expected them to have given more clarity had they processed the appeal tribunal decision. If in calling them again they're not immediately forthcoming with clarity expected then query if they have received the decision of the tribunal dated x. So yes advice as above."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0
