There i was looking for sports shoes online and i found some very cheap at the following site. I will space out the wording so you can 'google' it yourself.. Sue clark ceramics dot co dot uk..
Now, i became immediately cautious that a ceramics company was selling sports shoes and indeed looking at the site there was no direct contact detail and it sounds chineseish (if thats a word!)
There is indeed a business called sue clark ceramics based in Beckenham so i am a little mystified.
I have NOT tried to purchase anything.
Any geek types around who know what has happened and what to do?
Many thanks
Ps it does come not far from the top of google searches for sports shoes

Perhaps you could report it to the Prime Minister of China.Inforapennyinforapound wrote: »Yes i did but is there any type of official organisation that can take it down ad i guess it is fake..
Not quite sure how you might go about that, nor whether they are doing anything wrong by Chinese laws.
Before buying from a website, I always tend to ask myself "what happens if something goes wrong"?
This website has no phone number, nor any geographical address.
If it were a UK limited company, then the company number and the address of their registered office must be present. So must their VAT number if they are VAT registered.
To stop an 'an innocent person' getting caught, pass those points on to all innocent people that you know. 0 0

You can warn everyone you know not to buy from said website, people shouldn't lose out as they will no undoubtedly have to use a credit/debit card to make the purchase and are protected.
There will no doubt be someone who will buy from the website without doing the relevant checks.
If you google "sue clark ceramics" and click on the "website" button on the right it will direct you to the footwear website you mention OP, the listed address is the same address for this Art gallery.
After doing a whois search the website (the footwear one) has been going since may and owned by someon from London if I remember right.0

There are thousands and thousands of sites like these, the one you found is the tip of the iceberg. Just ignore, you'll never get them all taken down and could waste a life time trying.Inforapennyinforapound wrote: »I am just trying to help an innocent person to not lose money0

 Exactly. Thats my point really.
I am not naive and i do know that there are thousands of fake websites, its just that it seems to have hijacked a legitimate business which is a shame for that business.
 I have emailed sue clark.
And please folks if you have nothing useful to say then dont bother. It is so easy to be childish and sarcy on a forum. Not all people are internet savvy and to the posters above, this warning was not for you but to warn the less savvy to beware. Not everyone is as clever as you.
Obviously i didnt fall for it so why the sarcasm?0

The domain is registered to a residential address in kent by a guy named "Grant Martin".
As it is a .uk domain if you beleave the website is selling fake goods you can report it to nominet (the company that overseas all .uk domains). If there is suffucuent evidance nominet have the power to strip the company of the domain name.0

The reference to Hong Kong Post should have been a big hint!0
