    Hi Missy
    Hope you're doing ok

Gym's can be very cliquey, don't worry about it, concentrate on you and what you want to achieve from being there... fitness, stamina, strength, toning up etc. The friendships will build from that dedication to your routine...

I have been around dojo's, fight schools, gyms etc. for a LONG time, was doing Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) WAY before it became a "thing".

If you want to make friends in a gym, work and train hard, be courteous and give respect where it is earned...

    Hope that helps ;)

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

  • Great advice from US. I used to quite like the gym pre kids, but since then don't seem to have had time/money.

I'm sure you will make friends there soon, but don't go undoing all your good work in the cafe afterwards :naughty:

Hey, how is everyone? Sorry I've been MIA, would you believe I've actually been spending all of my time at the gym, well apart from yesterday where me and the small ones have been doing fun things for half term! Budget shopping hasn't been amazing as keep nipping in to buy treats for the small ones, and pumpkins etc. But will try and get back on track. OH comes home next week so shopping budget will have yo be higher. Think I'll do one main shop this weekend then a weekly shop of £20-£25 a week. Will see how I get on. OH is a fussy bottomless pit when it comes to food!!!

Will go and catch up with all the diaries x

Carving pumpkins later so making a pumpkin pie tomorrow.

We've had waffles with frozen raspberries and reduced bananas, no yogurt so whipped up some tinned coconut milk that was left over and made 'coconut whipped cream'. Not sure what we're having for lunch. Toasted sandwich maybe...? Made some flapjacks yesterday so may have that for afters.... No idea what's for dinner, burritos maybe....
  • Nice to see you back Missy x
  • You must be really enjoying the gym missy and getting very fit :)

Hey! Yes loving the gym although have massive muscle ache all the time now and can't stop eating!!!

Ok so spent £60 on shopping yesterday, as had run super low on OH's food stuff. Hoping to spend £25 a week from now on. I'll go shopping on a Monday generally.
Children had toast and fruit this morning and I had biscuits! I have ham sandwiches for lunch. I've been super organised and put chilli in the thr slow cooker for chilli and nachos as requested by Roo. Have sweets for trick or treaters and scooped out the pumpkins and will endeavour to make a pumpkin pie when I get home. Work all day today, just having a lovely coffee.
