            yep dont pay any more
as a seller, I have underestimated things (got caught a few times when it changed to PiP)
I thought bognor, and sent it, my fault
as a buyer I have also paid £6-10 for an item and then seen £2-3 on the postage stamp - so a lot over charged, BUT, I wanted the item at the price including postage, and I agreed it when bidding so did not ask for a refund of the postage,0

Yes seller should send item at the price listed. However despite all the rules and morals they are likely not to send it at all. So if you want the item you need to communicate with the seller, maybe ask to split the difference or try and convince them not to add extra.
It is true if you don't receive you can open an item not received dispute and then can end up waiting around 4 weeks for your money back. Try and sort out with the seller first. It may be a genuine mistake, eg they want to send by Special Delivery as item is valuable and they can't afford the extra.
To consider; if seller is relatively new, how much original item is worth, if you can purchase it elsewhere, how much the actual postage is (ie weight and size and how they are sending it, ask them)..0

Get in contact with Ebay they can't change there P&P this is wrong and a bad seller ask ebay for there advice and they will get you a refund or get seller to send straight away or they will strike them off. I would advise the seller that I am contactinf Ebay too. This might shake him up and he will send goods had same situation before . Hope that helps xx0

exactly, its the sellers mistake,so the seller should deal with it not the buyer.
i cant honestly beleive that some people on MONEY SAVING EXPERT are saying its just a few quid, just pay it....work permit granted!0

I never actually thought I would post agreeing with Brooke Daver (or whatever play on a username he is using at present!!!) but surely it is up to the OP to decide whether it is worth paying extra postage to still get a bargain.
Goldspanners, surely if it would still be cheaper than she could get it elsewhere even with extra postage, then it would still be Money Saving?
Where are you OP? Let us know what you have decided to do.0

I wouldn't pay any more. You paid for the item in good faith, the seller is responsible for checking their costs. Again, like a lot of others, if you sell via ebay and underestimate the P&P then that's your fault, NOT the buyers. Do like SOOLER says, just wait for the item and if you don't get it, contact ebay. The Cheeky get.........0

just like to say thankyou to everyone for your advice i really didn't know what to do but in the end i paid it and told the seller i wasn't at all happy about it but as the item is discontinued in the shop i really wanted this for my little boy the seller should have known better as they have been using ebay since 2004 just wait till i leave them feedback to let others know what she is like.0

            hi
Have they already left you feedback because if this is how the seller is I would expect one in return.
Personally I would not have paid the extra, even more so if they have seen selling that long.
Just makes youwonder how many others this seller has done this to and got away with it. Hope I don't ever use them. Thanks for any help and advice given
