Holiday Refund when Passport not valid

Hello Experts! I booked a 6 nights holiday to Dubai through Expedia, it includes flights, hotel and car rental. I paid for everything with my VISA credit card and I've got world wide travel insurance with Nationwide. It turned out that my passport will expire in 4 months from the date I would enter UAE. The airline got their information from IATA and were prepared to allow the OP to travel so I doubt they have any responsibility for the additional costs.

Its not yet been established who is correct anyway but at least the OP has a solution that is reasonable. Hope they have a good time.
