MP3 player - advice needed!

Hi guys

I'm looking to buy a new mp3 player, around £30 or so. My music collection is on windows media player. In the past I've used a sansa but wondering if there's might be better out there.

LOL, thank you - yes but I wanted to use it in the gym so would prefer something smaller!

Keep working out at the gym and graduate to a ghetto blaster , or get wireless headphones/buds. Mind you Mp3 players probably have better battery life than smartphones

Plenty of "dumb phones" still on the market .. (burner phones for drug dealers etc)

If it's just for the gym and you want something small, lightweight and cheap... then £10 on eBay will easily buy you a new mp3 player with a decent battery life that can play wma and mp3 files. In fact eBay sell such players for as little as £3.99 including postage - and they are UK stock. Obviously they won't be amazing for the price, but I have bought a few of these as gifts (stocking fillers) and they're actually ok. The key thing for you is that they play wma files (Windows Media). Amazing really for £4 inc postage! Here is just one example:

I don't have a smartphone and would like a hifi player that I can take on the train etc. That could play flac files maybe. Budget up to about £300. Thanks
