I bought mine from Amazon marketplace. You need the R4 and a micro sd card.

Yes you can have as many micro sd cards as you like - but you only ever need 1 R4. My son has a few to save deleting games when going on hols and stuff.

My daughter has recently got a nintendo ds and i have thought bout gettin the r4 card n puttin games etc on it but no idea were to begin any help or advice on how to do this and what i need to purchase would be greatly apperciated please pm me if u can help thank you

you need to buy an R4 that is the hard pert they are in short supply there are alternatives like the TTDS but they dont seem to be as well made as the R4. you need a memory card to store the files on they use micro SD cards formerly known as transflash.

as for the games you just copy the files on to the mSD card and put it in the R4 than the whole lot in to the DS. where to get the files for the card use your imagination.
