Copy the url from the page you want to turn in to a clicky

Now go back to mse
Write in the word you want to turn in to a clicky
Highlight it
Click on the insert link option above (It's the icon with a picture of the world)
You will get a pop-up box
Delete http://
Insert your url
Press ok
You should now have a pretty clicky

Thats my way, it's so easy after a couple of times you'll do it with your eyes shut:D

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach that person to
use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.:D
• I do it this way...

[ url=type in or copy and paste the url from the page you want to link to ]type in the word eg Clicky

So mine would look like this [ url=http://www.google.co.uk/]Clicky

If it's a thread you want to link to it's like this...
[ thread= type in the number that's in the url ]type in the work you want to use eg Here[/thread]

Again, mine would look like this [ thread=7449241]Here[/thread ]

I've inserted spaces after and before the end brackets otherwise it would have just shown up as 'Clicky'. So you don't use those space.

You can click on 'vB code is On' at the bottome of the page for further instructions.

• Strange question, but I registered another email account to enter loads of competitions, as I didn't want my main account to be filled with junk.

For that reason I registered an email address like this:

<myname>junk@gmail.com

I've had a weird paranoid feeling that if I won a competition and they seen the word "junk" in my email address, they may decide to give the prize to someone else.

... Told you it was strange, am I being paranoid?

• I also use another e mail for competitions etc but use a proper name for both, one is with hotmail.co.uk and the other with hotmail.com. May be worth changing to a better name.
On the other hand I have never ever won a prize after trying for just over one year now and I must have entered over 3,500 competitions on line. (at least 10 a day)
:confused::confused::confused:
• i have no idea how they actually make a draw fopr the winner do they even look at the email address.... says someone who has never had an email conformation just a few prizes that have just turned up. was going to ask what the email subjects are like? are they like 'your a winner' and not hard to miss in amongst all the rubbish i get in my inbox?

Usually in the subject line it will say
'Re: ****** competition', 'Congratulations you're a winner' or 'Winner of ****** competition'. :D

I use a hotmail.com email account and I have had a large amount of wins. I do enter a lot more that 10 competitions a day though.
