Thanks Jo - yes, it's confusing as they say in their email the competition is over, but two weeks past the closing date the website is still going!
I'll email them for the winners list next week I think.
Thanks

Worried my post is going to disappear and I am really unsure what to do next.
Thanks
Kirsteen
can you not just sit and relax a bit
some competiton winners arent getting their prizes half a year gone
for me recieving a prize is a privilege not a right0 -
Hope you dont' mind me posting this,.. But i've just started comping a bit more seriously..and would like to know if you win (by chance!!) do they generally phone or email you? Do you guys put your 'real' phone number???? so far i just enter a made up number as i don't want to receive direct marketing calls at home.. but really what do you think, you lucky and experienced compers....
Thanks a lot for your advice

Hi, I've only ever had one win telephone and let me know that I'd won, generally I only use my mobile phone number for comp entries so then I know if that phone rings then it's a comp win or marketing from a comp win, though I've really never had any problems with marketing calls.
Competitions are all different in how they advise you that you've won, some send a wem (winning email) some write and others just send the prize. The Walkman I just received just turned up special delivery, the necklace I received an email, just depends on the promotor hth0 -
Hi, & welcome to comping :j
I've never been contacted by phone, I've either had emails telling me I've won, or the prizes have just arrived!
I just give my mobile number, hope that helps.
Good luck with your compingTightwad. And proud of it!

I've only ever had one call to say I had won a prize
But if you are anti putting a phone number in or ex directory maybe, you can always put 00000000000 or 07700000000 etc0 -
thanks a lot for your answers.. i just didn't want to miss on things but prefere to put my mob number anyway... now all i need is Luck and judging by things A LOT OF FAITH AND PATIENCE...:DA friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)

I put in both my home and mobile numbers (not wanting to miss a prize
). I don't get marketing calls. I do get a lot of email and post though as a result of comping. I rarely tick the opt out boxes though.

I use my work phone number, and haven't received spam-type calls - just make sure you don't give your details to sites like MyOffers,
I've normally found it's either a letter, email - or just turn up in the post!
Good luck with your comping.42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot:hello: Good Luck everyone !:hello:0 -
Out of interest how many times do you enter each competiton? I know most are 1 entry per E-mail/household, so how many E-mails/addresses do you use? (I used to have freebies delivered to all my family:rotfl: , but only let the 1s I liked keep them! )I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0
