You can't really be up to date - have you checked the regular comps and the postal ones?

I'm beginning to find that I quite like writing reminders to myself in the dust around here, and the cobwebs might be pretty sprayed with some fake snow at Christmas...
:T Thanks to all who post on here :T

  • Hi
Just a quick plea for those posting email competitions - can you put it in the title?

I often don't have time to do the email ones, just enter the online ones, and quite often have opened up threads, read through stuff and only then find out it's an email one - it's so much easier if it is in the title.

I've noticed some people do it and it's really useful.

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions :T

  • No, sorry I won't be doing that. It's hard enough posting comps, & remembering everything to include - it's no good promising to add something else to the title because I know I'll forget.

Someone else posted not long ago asking for us to say when you need to copy and paste the answer rather than clicking one of the options (I think it was something to do with aol browsers) I never remember to do that either. Other people need the email details writing out for when it's a web based email - I do remember that most of the time, but I'm afraid it would be impossible to please everyone all of the time. Sorry if that sounds harsh :o

I always put "entry is via e-mail" near or at the top of any I post so you can see it straightaway, or if you hover your mouse over the thread title to get a preview.

I'm not sure having another protocol about thread titles is a good way to go however. Older denizens of this board may have had similar discussions before, maybe?
Many tx to all who post constructively in all the forums!

Good for you Cheeky - i'm just so grateful for everyone who spends their time posting the comps rather than trying to get the layout changed to save myself a bit of time!<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_6785076", true); </SCRIPT>
