Sam dont feel guilty or terrible, I have posted a few comps, some have already been posted some not. I dont think the people that post a lot of comps really mind if we dont post as many or any at all. What we see depends mainly on what we look for

Don't feel bad, if you're posting answers and joining in on conversation then that's contributing! Or even if you're not, unless you're going off finding loads of other comps yourself and then not posting them then that's not really the issue. It's best if you don't post duplicates.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

I have a list of sites that I post the comps from, I know a few people have the same, if Kippers list is too long, she can always delegate some sites to others of us
(but not me cause I got enough & I'm such a stress head :rotfl: )0 -
Hi Ryan, welcome to the board. Its a nice idea, I certainly like the idea of more comps for everyone to enter.
Kipper can more than ably speak for herself, but I suspect she wouldn't have volunteered to be board guide if it would reduce her comping finding/ entering time. Kipper has explained how she searches for comps in previous discussions, so its not a great secret. I have a few sites that I watch daily(ish) & just keep my eye out for others. As others have said though, its generally very difficult to find comps that haven't already been posted on here, and duplicates do tend to clog up the board, but peeps are generally pretty helpful & will ask for them to be merged, and we'll also say if they're spammy (like myoffers and win4you are) or US only or have funny T&Cs. But it does take time to enter the ones on here, and it takes time to find new ones. Not everyone has the same spare time available as others on here.
You only have to look at the thread statistics to see that most comps have more 'thanks' than finders, and even more 'views' than thanks, so if you look at it like that, then there are certainly more takers than givers. But I for one don't look at like that. I especially like seeing peeps sharing their winning stories in the IwinIwin subforum (though I can rarely think of anything more original to say than congatulations), and I've won more prizes since joining here and sharing the comps I've found. So different posters have different motivations/ rewards from this site. & I like the forum this way
Rather than delete this thread, why not ask for it to be added to the compers Inn or discussion stickies where this kind of thing is best discussed. From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings

I'm another one who rarely post a comp (and it's certainly not because I don't look) as someone always pips me to the post
I feel guilty too and keep telling myself that I must try harder. Great idea Ryan
