I tick some of them depending if any interest to me as had the same thoughts also,no harm in it as can easily be put in junk box or deleted.Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream0

Hi melmel, I don't tend to ask for any newsletters or other opt ins unless it is of interest to me.
The only exception to this is when you have to have the newsletter to qualify for the comp! Then I have a list of which newsletters I have done this for & the comp dates - so I know when I can safely unsubscribe without falling out of the compeition!Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0 -
i vary whether i tick the boxes or not, depends on what they are for etcWeight Loss - 102lb0

Yea tend to opt in if I'm interested, opt out if I'm not. I'm not organised enough to keep a list tho!Life is all about the journey.0

i dont care what boxes i tick the only ones i prefer not to take are phone calls
spam can be deleted and junk can be recycled but rather not be disturbed by nuisance or cold callers0 -
hi everybody,
been comping quite a bit lately and noticed that a lot go through IPC. I recently won a first prize and got a mailing from IPC and wondered if this means I'm less likely to win any other current comps I enter that goes through them?
Sorry if this is a stupid question!:D0 -
I don't think it hampers your chances, I think IPC are just a sort of mail handler
It's quiet on here today0 -
While I wish you and your fiance every success in this competition and hope that you raise loads of money for Diabetes UK I have to point out that it is against this forum's rules to post for personal gain except in the referrers section.
For that reason I will not be voting for you:beer:Any war that lasts for longer than five years should be declared a draw.:beer:0 -
My OH is the Sales Director for his company and they are launching a new product range in April, I told him a good thing for publicity is to run a competition to win the new product range, when it comes to it is ok for me to post this competition? as I won't gain anything for doing this but just wanted to make sure it was ok as I am connected to the company??
thanks in advance.0
