    I did make it for someone else, my big fat trouser poppin pig hubby (actually he is very slim, but 6foot 4 and hard to get enough calories into!!!)

    I'm with you on the taste of cakes made with oil but I've found with this cake it's helped because it uses olive oil which has its own taste and with the flavour of the ground almonds.
