Just copied the recipe out and added to to my collection. I will definitely be making this cake again soon.

I think the taste just gets better, it stays lovely and moist too. :T

I'm surprised any of yours makes it to day two the way your OH was tucking in.:rotfl:

I used olive oil, I'm not sure it would work as well if you used butter.

You could add the recipe to the index and it will eventually get added to the Old Style Recipe Index.

Have a look and you can decide whether you'd like to add yours or not.Add your own recipe

Oh remembered another thing, make sure the eggs are wiped if one or more breaks, I didn't do it properly once, they stuck to the egg rack in the fridge then smashed as I went to take them out, what a mess!

Rikki - Your amazing!:T Weezl only posted the recipe at 12.37 pm - You had recipe jotted down, cake baked, sliced perfectly, taste-test like a pro and flashed up in glorious technicolor like a Good Food Guide photographer possessed!..... all by 3.03 pm:eek: :T :T :T :T (I have to admit :o I didn't initially believe it when you professed to actually have the oven on warming - ready to receive Weezl's wisdom and turn it into culinary genius..... How wrong was I?!!!! :o:o :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

THANKS HUN - I haven't laughed that hard in ages......
