  • Hope all goes well with meeting of parents & KW. Great news about the allotment. My parents have one and if you (he) can put the work in then you should reap the benefit of lovely fresh veggies :D

Well, it seems to have well :) They haven't come out and said he's amazing or he's awful, so I'm taking that as a positive! Whatever they thought, it doesn't change anything, except I was really pleased that he relaxed and we (he, Miss Kitty and I) enjoyed ourselves today.

The sun shone, the cake MissKitty and I made was scrumptious, especially with some crème fraiche and thanks to buying that, I've got 70p for the Marmite jar!!

    70p to online savings.

A sunny, if stressful, day yesterday. Am going to be calling the housing association about the flat I'd previously viewed and had thought it needed too much to do to it, to see how much it will cost to get the lease extended, and whether any of the likely renovations can be done by them.

I am glad that the meeting day went well. Sounds like you might be interested in the house. I hope it's fine. :j

Spent, £3.60 and remaining 40p has gone into the jar :)

I've called the housing association about the flat, and emailed the owner, and am awaiting either/both of them to get back to me. I had already viewed and rejected it, but have changed my mind....and hope that they will be amenable to that.

I've cleared out 2 bags of goodies to my favourite chazzer and, to DD's delight, didn't pop in for a look around, just dropped the bin liners off.

Just looked at this month's payslip, got it in advance as I'm not paid until Thursday (sigh).

Changing my tax code to account for my union subscriptions seems to be giving me a £10 pay rise, which is odd as my subs are £17.50 a month....I'm not sure that's right, but it may be that they're going to be giving me a higher amount this tax year to catch up, despite already having paid me a rebate. Unless the rebate was for general tax purposes.

Who knows? Their letter wasn't particularly forthcoming....don't they know I'm a teacher and would like a full explanation using an appropriate conjunction and good punctuation???! :) @)

Home is. hmmmm....We're all stressed, upset and some of us are angry. It's not a healthy place to be at the moment. DD's watching a DVD and I'm avoiding planning, story of my life....!

Just ordered another £3 to go into my paypal from doing a survey :) I like this free money malarkey! I'll add it to the Marmite/online savings once I actually have it in my sticky mitts this time.

Changed my mind: The £3 has gone in the beloved Marmite jar!!

And then not helped by DD's new DVD cutting out after 52 minutes....we've both been so desperate to watch it, it only came out yesterday. Thankfully I'm going to get a replacement sent out ASAP and have to send it back. Poor little cherub, she'll have to talk to me now (or go to bed as it's getting rather late!)
  • Good luck with the property KK, but don't be tempted to accept if its not the right one just because you're desperate to move out.
