i do sometimes write things down, however for me its not the act of writing things down which helps, but the 'editing' i do which helps most of all.
basically i do a brain dump on an email, just splat out everything that's bugging me about the situation, in any order, in a way of what comes to me at the time of writing, then i try to edit it into an email that i 'could' send, i dont send these, but the process of arranging my thoughts and feelings into a coherent email usually allows me to get a grip on what is 'actually' bugging me, instead of the jumble of emotions and thoughts i have been grappling with.Drop a brand challenge

I write a diary. Have done since 2015. I have written a lot!
Sometimes I go back and reread stuff to remind me or if someone asks me something that I can find in my diary.
I find it therapeutic. And even if writing it down doesn't change things, it helps me get it in perspective.
And I can see how far I've come in the last few years.
I keep it all on a USB stick. Sometimes I wish I'd done it for longer than just 2015.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

I also write a diary and haven't missed a day for 8 years, I write 120-160k words a year on a password protected Word document.
I find it so therapeutic, it's surprising how much things make sense when you think about them as you write. I do vent sometimes but also write up all the positive events, hopes and aspirations including setting goals for the year.

Yes it helps enormously. It utilises the creative part of the brain and assists in resolving the root of the anger and helps to turn negative thinking into positive. We used to use it a lot with people who found it difficult in verbalising their frustrations. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.
