Bought the daily mail this morning for the first time, do you have to fill out your name and add before you presnt it to the sa??0 -
I have today's Times Revlon coupon (on back of Body & Soul supplement), but I can't see how you could 'just "remove" the Superdrug logo' on this one, JoanieMerc.
Unless you're photoshopping and reprinting???0 -

Despite my earlier concern about the fuzziness of the bar code and no expiry date, I can now confirm that mine scanned easily on the self scanner at Asda and the SA at Tesco scanned it fine as well. My OH wasn't so lucky. He tried his luck with a SA at Asda who was adamant that he had to buy the book first. Some SA's are so naive.........;)0

My Asda NEVER take ANY book tokens - even the £1 Quick read things last year. The supervisor told me they do not take ANY book tokens, even though they sell books !!!
So lucky you if you managed to get an sa to accept one.
I usually like to go thru staffed tills in Tesco, so there is no issue of me being deceiptful - I hand over the coupons and ask them to scan them. Acceptance or not is then up to sa......but as I have found recently Tesco having a clampdown on ALL coupons, and don't seem to accept coupons unless you have bought item. Also sa keep checking with supervisors, so presume they have all been given some warning re coupon acceptance, therefore may be force to try the self scanners this week......the coupons are still supposed to be 'authorise' by sa, but sometimes they can be a bit casual !!;)0
