None as yet! 47, 2 long term relationships, 2 children with the first and looking back I wasn't IN love either time. I live in hope of fireworks when I finally meet my soul mate :)

  • 3 times. 1st I was 21, fell head over heels but the relationship was unhealthy. Stuck with it on and off until I was 27 and found out he had cheated on me with one of my friends back in the early days. After the pain I was set free from the hold he had on me by knowing that

2nd time I was 29 and it only lasted a year. Turned out after all it was only me in love. I was devastated!

3rd time when I met my partner at 32. This has been the best relationship of my life. We've got a 4 year old so life has taken a less heart skipping path for now. I hope to stay with him my whole life

Infatuated or in lust a few times before the real thing appeared.

Once possibly twice - but perhaps the first time was just an infatuation. It would have been an utter disaster if we'd tried to make something long term out of our "relationship".

Twice. Once with a former partner and 2nd time is with myself.

Ex bf was fantastic, but he had many demons (very well hidden at first) which in the end became too heavy of a burden. I was young then and very insecure, so was it true love? to me it was but I acknowledge that I loved and held him hostage to his potential.

After the passing of a long time and some therapy sessions in dealing with my own past, I have come to fall in love with myself. I'm in a happy place now. This one I'm sure will last.
  • A few times, and I'm also prone to crushes...

Once, what i have now is the real deal. What i felt before when i thought i was "in love" doesn't even come close.

  • I have been in love twice. firstly with my husband of 34 years. he died in April.
Then I met an old work colleague and fell in love with him. I believe my husband sent him to me as I just wasn't coping on my own.
