I have only used Subway twice and find it over-priced for what you get, offers or not.

Hubby was working away and bought a baguette which cost £4.25. He was given a points card, which I just put in the bin as I would imagine you have to spend a fortune before you can redeem anything. Plus my local subway is a franchise (at the back of a convenience store), I'm guessing they wouldn't accept it anyway.

    You shouldn't make assumptions!

The "SubCard" gives you 10 points for every £1 you spend in store. So depending on what you redeem the points on it offers you between 5 - 12% on what you spend. Which is pretty decent compared to other loyalty cards such as Tesco which is between 1 - 4% roughly.

Almost all Subway's are franchised and they all accept the Subcard; i haven't seen a Subway that doesn't accept it.

I just use the App on my phone to collect points. So it's not wasting space in my wallet and considering it only takes a few seconds to scan the phone i might as swell use it even if i it takes me a while to get enough to redeem anything.

I've only used them once and cant see why someone would pay £4.25 for a filled bread roll (baguette). They can afford to be generous with their loyalty card.

They stopped it months ago. They might have reinstated it briefly when they went back to promoting their salads, but I think that was only a couple of weeks ago.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

God knows. He probably thinks whoever he's written to will be outraged and will close all of the outlets that don't follow suit.

But obviously you, me and everyone else knows this won't happen at all. It'll depend on how he's made his complaint. If it's email then it'll be bounced around several people who will al,m would have laughed but the final person who's in charge will have just have deleted it.

If he wrote a letter then it'll currently be in a bin somewhere right now.

You need to get real, they don't have to continue offering the salad, they are a business and can change whats offered they like. They could change the subs completely and only serve vegetarian options but it wont happen as a lot of customers go for the meat option.

In fact if your wanting salad then why don't you get 1 of the subs filled with salad, jobs a good un.
