Stamp duty fees hack!

Lets say a house is worth £500,000
On that the stamp duty will be £15,000.00
Anything under £250,000 the fee is 1% which equates to £2,500.00
What you as a buyer has to do is, tell the owner to make the house into two flat (just have two letters coming in as e.g. 1A and 1B)
This was you will save £10,000 on a £500,000

Yes, because those totally wouldn't be linked transactions, would they?

At a minimum, the vendor will require PP to convert a house into flats and comply with building regulations for the subdivision of the property.
