The interest charge battle/poor credit rating

Hello everyone,
I'm just trying to work out if there is anyway I can get a 0% overdraft account with a very poor credit rating. I have quite a bit of debt (£8Kish) and in the last couple of years since my depression has significantly subsided, I have become determined to clear off every balance. I'm trying to work out if there is a smarter way which I am not aware of, but eligible for?

An overdraft is unlikely to be the best way.
What is the debt?
What do you earn?
What do your credit files show (not the score or rating)?0 -
Hi Sea_shells89
I’m afraid you will struggle to get a deal like a 0% interest overdraft if you have a poor credit history. Is there any reason you are looking to do that? Having an overdraft can be a temptation to get further in to debt.
If you are struggling to repay the debts that you already have I’d recommend posting a statement of affairs (SOA) in the Debt-Free Wannabe forum http://www.stoozing.com/calculator/soa.php. That will help to see what your financial situation is and get offers of advice on your options.

What is the debt?
What do you earn?
I earn quite well, but I live in London and everything just seems crazy expensive at the moment. I'm paying off quite a lot of things and only have one or two payments which I miss, but I haven't got any payday loans, just credit cards and overdrafts.
I know I need to prioritise and be stricter with my spending.
Thanks guys.0 -
