Went to the Play Store to download the Sky App to my Galaxy Tab 4 and it states that the app is not compatible for my device! Fat lot of use :-(0

Same here, my tablet isn't new enough and Sky has never had an app for a windowsphone.
Why not just reward loyalty with something like a year at a decent discount that hasn't been begged for?0 -
It worked for me on my android mobile.0

Be VERY careful as Sky have made a huge mess-up (probably not even by design) which means that you may get charged for a movie here even if you have a voucher.
So I won a voucher from British Gas a few months ago. I loaded it into my Sky Account. There weren't any films I wanted at the time and it said the credit lasted for 12 months. Cool. Fast forward a month or so and a movie appears that I want. I buy it from the store on my sky box (not from the web).
At no point does Sky make it clear that your Sky Store account isn't the same as your Sky Account - and I have no idea why it wouldn't be - except if they've cocked up and got 2 different developers to do the work for them and as such the Sky Store account is not linked.
Anyway - I checked my bill and the voucher credit for £13.99 is still there on my account and they've billed me £13.99 for the buy and keep movie I purchased on the box.
So I queried this with the online chat and they basically told me that it was by design. Sky have chosen to keep the two accounts (i.e. sky store and sky account) separate. The only reason I could think you would want to do that is because of poor design. Suffice to say that they won't align one with the other, won't refund me, and as such I've paid £13.99 for a DVD of a movie I could have bought on Blu-Ray for £9 from Amazon.
So MAKE SURE YOU USE THE WEB PORTAL TO BUY THE MOVIE. You can still load it onto your sky box from the portal, but beware. I'd almost think Sky are doing this on purpose, but knowing how their back end works, they're not that well organised....0 -

It is through an app that you access this, any Android or iOS device will do. You could always borrow someones device and sign up, then delete your details.
Otherwise call Sky on 0333 759 3535, I'm sure they'll help.0 -
Just been on sky web site and they say if you don't have a phone you can phone them up and they will apply your reward's but the app is better as you will see much more. like competition's and ticket's.0

Ordered the VIP free DVD the other day, but got this email today:
"We're sorry to say there's been a delay with your DVD delivery. Don't worry; we're working hard to get this delivered to you by 08/09/2017.
The good news is that you can watch now online via our Sky Store app downloaded to your laptop, tablet or mobile or watch on your TV using your NOW TV or Roku box."
Why would a NOW TV or Roku box be needed to watch the film? Surely it should be available to view on the Sky box? (I'm not able to check currently)
Also, I've seen it mentioned a few places that debit/credit card info is needed to order the DVD, but this wasn't asked for when I made the order. I've never used the Sky Store before, but it just asked for log in details and used those for usual Sky account (which only has direct debit details attached, no debit/credit card).
EDIT: The email Sky sent with the redemption instructions in says "All you need is your Sky account number, viewing card number or bank details to hand." but it didn't ask me for any of that.0 -
It will be on your Sky box, in the Purchased tab of your Planner.
You just sign into the Sky Store on the NowTV box and your film should be there. You don't "need" it as such, it's just another outlet to see it.
Don't worry about the delayed DVD messages, last promo Xmas deal all three I took were delayed by varying amounts but they turned up eventually. I don't think Sky does an Amazon style warehouse setup and I wouldn't be surprised if they're all drop-shipped from the supplier.0 -
Hi I am just a broadband customer with sky and have activated my ViP. I have Gold level rewards, but dont know whether I qualify for Sky Go Extra since I dont pay for Sky TV. Anyone know whether I can get it or not?0
