Debit card - cash withdrawal in USA

Does anyone know if I can use a Debit card at an ATM in the USA?
Thinking it might save on interest.
(And no, I didn't get a special travel Credit Card - unfortunately I tried and was denied. )

Of course you can , you can use them anywhere in the world ...they will on the whole attract a charge tho

You can use it but it'll cost in ATM fees and rubbish exchange rate

Which would be better for withdrawing cash then - First Direct CC or First Direct Debit card?

Sorry - as I leave on Sunday, Monzo is not an option at this stage. Just simply wanted to know if I need to withdraw cash, should I use my Credit or Debit card?

Debit. But it is very poor.
