Two year Contracts

As I say all the suppliers follow this but not necessarily to the letter. I bought a cottage just over 2 years ago and the previous owners have a contract with Calor. The tank was right next to the boundary and also half a metre from the garage (deemed combustible as it had timber in the roof structure), yet they delivered gas no problem. I switched to Flogas when I bought the place and they came and did a tank inspection and passed it! I did discuss with them about moving the tank, which I have now done and it's just (only just) under 1.5m from my boundary which is as far away as I can get it, but it is a high rock face so considered a firewall. My 2 years is up and Calor have offered me a better price so I've switched to them. They did a tank inspection as part of this process and are happy with it.
I would say if you have space for a firewall (something that has a 2 hour fire rating such as brick, block work etc) then that would be one way to go.

No, I mean you need to go back and ask them what will happen if you choose not to move the tank.
