Kantar - Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

Use of app to record sending near posting point - I don't have a smartphone (just old call/text/camera one). So I can't download the app. I mentioned this to them a year or two ago and know things could have changed regarding ownership, but they haven't.
In the middle of October I got message welcoming me back and now have one repeating the welcome and mentioning I should now record using the app. Still no items in the "Preparation" section.
Does anyone have recent experience of not being able to use the app and either remaining or being removed from the active panel (other than for the normal 6-month break)?
I believe Spectos would insist on my using their app but I wondered about Kantar insisting now. I've had my current mobile for over 2 years and not yet spent my original £10 top-up. It may have cost me maybe £1 during that time by needing to print out tickets rather than showing them on my phone but it hardly justifies spending however much on a smartphone just to be able to participate in RM post surveys, especially when I have so many books of 1st class postage stamps.

Is anyone finding they still haven’t got many RFID return envelopes? I’ve got four RFIDs to send back and no envelopes. I requested some last time and they only sent me one, which I used straightaway. Got a posting pack today but no envelope! 🙄 Annoying!1

Yes. As soon as I use one they want more smarts back and then I have to request yet another envelope from them. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
I'm getting one every other posting pack (which I believe is the norm) and using at the same rate so I have 3 in hand (left over from last cycle).I need to think of something new here...1

Are there any panelist’s who haven’t received any Christmas stamps yet?
I got my December incentive/reward stamps but not the Christmas ones.“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”0 -
Mine haven’t come but then again nor has next week’s posting pack. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I am disappointed with the way Kantar have treated the issue of Chritmas stamps. I finished just before they were issued so missed out. Others have got them with their normal postings and some have had separate postings. Seems a complete mess.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
