Yes I’ll do this - that way it will pad out the sack a bit and make it look a bit more normal.

IF they are on the same manifest (as stated) they HAVE to be, don't they?

I've just received my fourth training week's posting pack.  Each week I send one small white envelope (typed label) on one day and a jiffy bag (handwritten) on the next.  

It seems odd to be doing exactly the same thing each week - no change to what is sent on each day, no change to the days of the week.  Perhaps they will never ask me to post anything on any of the other potential 4 days.

I wonder whether it was always thus.

Yes thats what I've always had.  They probably figure it you can get it right for a few weeks then you should be able to  cope sending out the regular packs without error.

Had to send a parcel bag today, and although I’ve used that post office before the chap was clueless and also adamant they’d never seem a parcel bag.
Didn’t help that I couldn’t remember who was meant to keep the manifest. Think I just outed myself.

Could the chap not read ?

Unless it has very recently changed the instructions for EXACTLY what the PO counter staff should do is printed on the manifest.

Has anyone else noticed they don’t send as many RFID return envelopes nowadays? They keep asking me to send RFIDs back but I haven’t got any envelopes!

I just checked my most recent posting pack, which arrived yesterday, and that hasn’t got any either! I requested some but it says they won’t arrived for 5–10 days. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes, I’ve had that as well. Have to keep taking them out of future packs so am permanently behind in sending the smarts back.

To be fair, you could equally ask why I didn’t read it either. In my defence I was in a rush as I was late for work.

I seem to be getting one every third posting pack.  Which is fine as I've usually got one or two in hand.
