Anyone entered SENDER DATA today ?

Only there seems to be a problem !

I click on the item for today, a "BEFORE LAST COLLECTION"

    I select the SENDER POINT

It confirms the LAST COLLECTION TIME (of 16:00)

But 11:00 automatically appears in the "What time did you post this item / make it available for Royal Mail to collect?" box

I can click on the DOWN and it goes to 10, then 9 etc but it wont go UP to 12 then 13 etc. (I want to enter 15:53)

    Minutes seem to work OK

    Hmmm!

    Anyone else encountered oddities today?

I've literally just logged an item I posted earlier this morning - no problems that I could see.

Occasional gremlins. Sometimes if you come out of the app or website and go back in again it seems to fix it. Worth trying.

The other day I actually received an envelope containing a "smart" with the sender's name and address on a label stuck on the back of it! Possibly a new panelist? I wondered whether I should write to her anonymously and tell her that showing any ID was prohibited but decided against it. I wonder if all her other recipients are being similarly treated?

Well, I am VERY glad I came and browsed around here! Thank you!

I have just joined as a new panellist. I don't think I'm particularly thick, but I had to read the instructions twice to work out there was one lot of incoming, which would be transferred to one lot of outgoing. And silence on the two labels provided with my name and address on. Since the rest of the stickers on that sheet had to be stuck on something, I assumed these did too. But then felt really uneasy as there was no mention of them...

And now I think you've saved my bacon, thank you! :T Not due to post until later this week thank goodness.

    Posting cube

Back on main panel, first cube to post that didn’t already have stamps on box, my post office is
now inside a off licence chain , asst had three attempts at working out the price even tho I told him how
much I expected to pay, he eventually did APL and a signed for label , said I didn’t want it signed for, he said this was the best price for me, charged me £2.60 but as I was leaving noticed receipt said
£2.26 had to go back to get change corrected, they overcharge in shop regularly, I stopped going in there. This took a good 10 minutes I missed my train to work, got to work half an hour late , I was not happy. If this happens next time I am quitting main panel, I give all my stamps away, I rarely use them
So apologies if you get a signed for cube

Just noticed on receipt comes up as signed for large letter !!!!

    Blimey, that is not good.

    Thanks for the replies.

I actually sorted it out about 2 hours after my post.

It was my laptop - actually the clock - and the time it thought it was.

I was doing some other things perfectly OK before trying the Sender data again

This time instead of 11:00 being the last time I could pick, it automatically filled in 12:00 and I could increase the minutes up to 12:07 but no more.

Some time later the maximum became 12:15.

Hmmm! That's when I noticed the time - Laptop was about 6 and a half hours SLOW

ODD ! Sure it was accurate earlier in the day or at least the day before

Anyway, the latest sender time you can enter is the current time on your device (on the basis that the DATE is also the same - ie the "SENDING DATE is "TODAY")

That's when I noticed the CLOCK RUNNING SLOW

Having corrected the time the seconds appeared to "hesitate" every now and then.
Over a period of 14 minutes it lost 90+ seconds.

Whatever it was ONLY rebooting it fixed it, and it's been OK since.

    Weird!
Never ever had it do that before.

    Well it would

    Large letter - £1.06
    Signed for service £1.20

Quite possibly the recipient will have to pay the current £3 flat fee (for a parcel with insufficient postage) in order to receive it.

If you stick around a while you'll eventually get a week when you have multiple cubes/DVD boxes so that you have two posting pack envelopes. One of the "your address" labels will be missing as it has been used for the second posting pack. Which begs the question of why the first posting pack has a separately printed label  probably because the process changed at some point but the set up to print the sheet of labels didn't...

After your stint you will have lots of half-sheets of labels and a couple of dozen "your address" labels lying around :)
I need to think of something new here...

Sounds like the PO is useless! Is it the only one you can easily get to?

They will also have to record it as arriving with the "Wrong" postage compared to what was on the plan and claim the £3 back from TNS - which might get traced back to Anvil1 who will possibly be blamed when it's the PO clerk hitting the wring buttons.
I need to think of something new here...

Just finished the last survey but it annoys me that they spread all the posting recipient details over two separate ustapled sheets when often one sheet containing them all would suffice.
