I agree that the frequency definitely seemed to have been upped on the cubes of late. Looking back, I've had between 2-5 a month for a while now. It wouldn't be so bad if it was one a week, but they seem to do them in batches, so have 2 or even 3 on the worst week!

I,m being inundated with automated messages saying I have unread messages in my In box when actually I don't. Is anybody key else having this problem?

    Hi all.

So been doing the Kantar survey where you send those SMART cards since the end of March (~28th).

Send my first on the 4th April.

Recieved the initial 12x1st class and 4x large letter 1st class stamps with my welcome pack.

And that's where the rewards have stopped. I know we're supposed to get the aforementioned rewards every month, and a special edition set of stamps at the start and end of the 6 month period, but I havent seen them either.

Anyone who has been on this scheme, can you tell me if you generally recieve the monthly stamps at the beginning of the month (in advance for the month to come, eg april 1st for all of april), or at the end (eg april 28th for the april thats just been)

By my reconing I should have recieved more stamps whichever way this goes, as it's now approaching the end of May and I havent had anything since the stuff in the welcome back.

In regards to the special edition stamps, I read somewhere in this post that you get them at the start of the 'live' period of the scheme, not the 'training'? I am still sending and recieving these training smarts, and have been doing this for 2 months! It's not that complicated lol.

I have messaged them on their in house query inbox, and written all thats above, but they simply gave me a link to read first (which was just the guide you get when you start, and outlined none of my queries). I reiterated this and then simply recieved a reply saying 'sorry, my stamps will now be sent out separately.'

Whether this means the stamps for April, May or what, is completely ambiguous.

First world problems, I know, but they offer incentives, so should give them. It's not a lot of work doing this, but it is still that.

Thanks if you can share any insights!

Hey all. Just an update almost 2 months on.

If anyone feels like doing this survey, expect to spend months and months of sending these fake SMART tokens back to kantar, and not much else.

The guide says the training SMARTS would be for "the first few weeks". Its now been 14-15 weeks!

As much as I like sending these letters for no reward (since the first) should i be taking offence they seemingly think i'm too slow to continue onto the live sending?

How long did everyone else have to endure the training period?

I messaged TNS to enquire why so many cubes when its supposed to be 1-2 per month. They replied that a lot of people are on holiday in my area so the total cubes needing posting are divided by the number of panelists not on holiday. I don't consider this to be acceptable and will be monitoring the situation to see if any more cubes turn up soon as I've already had my two this month in my first posting pack. None with my second pack so really hoping that is it. As it is, I'm holding one of the cubes over until next week to post - expecting more than one cube posting in a week is beyond unreasonable for many of us now there are far less convenient post offices.

I will send as many cubes as they want as long as the need 1st class APL's £2:50 profit every time. Bring them on.

Does anyone know of any uses for all the blank white labels we acquire with our posting packs?
  • I use mine to label stuff for the freezer. I used to use them for jam labels too.

They also come in handy for covering over labels on jiffy bags that I keep to reuse.

I use the spare labels for freezer containers and also sticking on the outside of those two sided open transparent stationery folders storing admin papers, bills etc in the hanging files in a filing cabinet.

If you accumulate enough of them you can peel off all the printed labels from the sheets, restock them onto a single blank banking sheet and use them for printing out labels for Christmas card addresses. Or of course, use for jam or marmalade jar labels.
