Alright guys
My service plan is coming to an end in November from Ford and I was wondering where else I can look to see if I can get it cheaper?? Or do I even need one?
I have got a Ford fiesta 2011 model that I brought directly from Ford about 3 years ago

I'd say you don't need one. Just find a local trusted mechanic and take it there for servicing. You could always pay something into a savings account towards it each month so it's there waiting when you get the car serviced.0

Ford do value services for £99. Our local dealership used to do my Citroen for that with no issue too. So if you like the dealership then just continue to take your car there.0

Really two questions.
1. Are service plans a good idea? No, use a bank. Your money is then safe.
2. Are there better/cheaper alternatives to Ford for servicing an out-of-warranty car? Probably.0 -
If I do not have a service plan place where I am paying a bit by bit per month, then how much would a service cost me???0

Hope you don't have an Ecoboost engine, if you do please look at this and then make your mind up whether it's worth keeping or not

I have (had) a 2013 model that seemed to be within the years concerned and as it was out of warranty I have got rid.
As far as costs are concerned for servicing try ringing local garages although Ford do some competitive prices for servicing if your cars over 3 years old0 -
Ask garages how much a service costs? Ford have their service costs on their website. Many other national chains will as well.byronwells wrote: »If I do not have a service plan place where I am paying a bit by bit per month, then how much would a service cost me???0 -
