Exactly! You're older, wiser and much more stable now from what you mentioned. You can only learn from your mistakes, it makes you a better person!
If it hadn't of happened then, who knows how it would still effect your attitude / position to debt now? You could be in an even worse position!
It will drop off your credit file from April 2020 as that's 6 years from when you settled the account. Whilst having a default on your credit file isn't ideal, with it now showing as settled and paid (from over 3 years ago now) it will have less and less impact on you for future credit over time.0
