Anybody recognise this plant?

Yeah, owner now thinks it could be a thornless blackberry.
It was in a pack of three strawberry plants bought from a DIY shed. 1 strawberry died, 1 lived, and the third plant turned out to be this.
Not the best luck for them.0 -
My Chester is not like Dafty's Chester, but the old overwintered stems are quite dark. Rather ashamed of the chlorotic leaves and malformed fruit, but here it is:

Morrison's finest....£2 if I remember rightly!

Mine is from a cutting this year, so very young. It's probably correctly labelled (unlike many, many other random pots spread around the farm) as this one came from the Head Gardener at the nearby Big House, and that gardener knows his stuff....
The stems do look darker in the flesh, as it were. I didn't take better photos, as mortar was cascading from my roof, and angry hornets were milling around. You can probably tell, the rebuild is starting!

They're beggars for suckering. And the suckers are Evil, as they seem to want to have all the thorns of the smooth bits on them as well as the normal quantity.
Keep it in a big pot. (Never splash it with water, and, never, ever feed it after Midnight  - yes, I loved watching Gremlins as a kid. Those suckers are a thousand times worse.)I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll
