Not good at the moment, had 2 phone calls yesterday after interviews I had last week, didn't get either job
On the plus side husband loves his new job and my loan is down to £4,600

Sorry to hear you not yet found anything. You are still doing your old job until January aren't you? At least your husband likes his new job. Been on a money saving mission with our bills.
We have both switched from EE to Sky Mobile which will save us about £80 a month
We are also switching our gas & electric from Scottish Power to Igloo Energy
Only thing is we owe SP £179, we don't have to pay the full amount in one go to move away from them, we can set up a payment plan until its cleared.
Is it better to just pay the £179 or do it over say 6 months at £30 a month?
£179 is a lot when you're job hunting and husband is taking home £800 a month less

If it doesn't cost you more I would do the payment plan as money is tight. Well done on saving on mobile costs. No luck on job front yet then?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Good luck with the job search chelseablue, I'll probably have to do the same soon! There's a company called fyxer who contacted me last year, they were looking for PAs and EAs.0

It's work from home and one day in Moorgate in London, but if you contact them maybe you can come to another arrangement - just an idea
These are crazy times though, hoping for a better 2021 for everyone
