i recently bought a holiday through teletext with the airline being Monarch. i discussed the deal over the phone, he then sent me a confirmation email which i checked, agreed with the dates and times, and paid. 3 days later i received by email a set of holiday vouchers for flights, hotel and transfers. on arrival at gatwick car par i noticed the two documents had different return flight times. one said 1330 which was the agreed time and the other said 2230. i questioned this at the monarch desk at gatwick and was told i was never booked on the 1330 flight but i could change it if i paid an extra £47-65 which i did. Happy days.
the day before i was due to return i checked what time i was being collected from the hotel and was told 1750. The receptionist, thankfully, got on to teletext holidays and 90 minutes later came and got me to speak to them. lo and behold i was told it was all my fault because i didnt tell them about the flight change. i did explain i had written confirmation of the 1330 flight time. next was the fact they couldnt provide the airport transfer because it was too short notice so i had to get a taxi. all in all im out of pocket £85 for the taxi, £47.65 for the flight change plus i paid £14.52 for the original transfer which never happened. Teletext holidays have admitted now it was there fault and will compensate me. can i be compensated for more than the out of pocket expenses? Thank you and sorry for such a long winded post

Seriously ?? What do you want to claim for ?

Were kids involved ? Perhaps a near-death experience or just a major trauma/worst day of your life ?

To be honest, given other experiences of Teletext reported frequently on this board, you're lucky they've agreed to refund you your expenses. I'd take your money and run
