OH uses the choc chip cookie recipe from one of the newer BeRo books, but has recently halved the amount of syrup. He's varied the type of choc used and also added cranberries (with white) or raisins.
Beat 100g margarine, add 75g soft light brown sugar and cream together.
Stir in 2tpsp syrup, 175g SR flour, 100g choc chips and 2tbsp milk and mix. Place spoonfuls on trays and bake at 180 for 8-10min. Remove from tray immediately and cool on wire racks.0 -
