Lack Of Bank Details On Natwest Card

I am not even sure the sort code is that relevant as you can use a Barclaycard that is a cheque card to guarantee any personal cheque account you hold with the bank, at any branch. However, I know it is in the terms and condition for a 3-in-1 debit card that you must be using the card the issued with the same sort code (I think it might say branch) as where the current account is held, but again I am not sure if APACS rules on cheque guarantee (which dont require the sort code to match), superceed those of your terms and conditions.James0

The account terms would not apply to a third party, only the Cheque Guarantee rules.
From what I can recall, the account needs to be held at the same branch, that's why RBS/Natwest put just the sort code, it means that it cant be used with a cheque from another branch with the same name.
It is true that this doesn't apply to limits on Credit/Charge cards, but they being phased out, particularly on former. As far as i'm aware new standard Barclaycards are not guarantee cards, I know they used to have a £50 limit on the back. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
