From £30 on Openrent you can get on Rightmove, Zoopla, Primelocation etc.

If you're looking to rent to professionals it's probably worth it. Compared to the cost of just one local paper advert (back in the days when people advertised in local papers) it's good value.

Because it has the appearance of an 'agent' you may be less likely to be targetted by scammers etc.

I would agree with this. Rightmove is by far the most popular place for professional tenants to look and will give you maximum exposure. Openrent is very popular with tenants as well as there are no rip off tenant fees. It's a win win situation.

Thank you all, I am looking to attract professionals (to replace the professional couple who left), so Openrent looks a good option. No rip off tenant fees in Scotland, it's been against the law for a few years now, glad to see the rest of the UK is going to catch up. Having read some Landlord Association advice on internet scamming by both fake tenants and fake landlords, I suppose the message is to be very careful regardless of which methods I employ. I am now better informed about the types of scams that go on.
