Need a cheap computer quick

I need a computer for internet use. Cheap and one that I can hopefully sell easily after using it for 6 - 12 months or so. Used or new, but used should make it more affordable.
laptop/desktop does not matter, but must be able to browse the latest websites without hanging or losing the page formatting.
Can you help to find one? ebay etc...
I'm thinking £200 but cheaper is ok, £50 would be perfect if possible.
Thank you.
EDIT additional info:
For a postcode you can use CF72 8RB and 10 - 15 miles (but not North Somerset
)
Ebay has a used Sony Vaio 15" for £169
Can y'all have a look for me please, see if you spot anything decent. bigger screen = better.
Or a desktop is ok, I have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. I also have a internet connection with a wifi router and an ethernet cable.
Cheapest new laptops I found so far are:
local Tesco Store, HP Stream 14" £199 a bit too blue.
http://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/36952
And Currys store had an ASUS E200 11.6" for £179, a bit dinky.

Get on freecycle for a monitor and a keyboard and mouse or buy the keyboard/mouse from 1 of the supermarkets.0 -
Argos have a few sub £200 laptops, available straight away. Example an Acer 13.3", item 651/2585 @ £179.99 (new).0

depends on your technical skills. But go to eBay, search "pc" or "laptop", limit to "used" and "within 10 miles" and see what is in your price range.
For example, there is a Dell Vostro, Win10 Pro, 6GB RAM, within 10 miles of me going for £65 Buy It Now. I might just buy that myself in fact!
If no operating system is provided, install Linux. If there is enough left in the budget, buy a 30GB SSD
Or just go to Argos, and buy some cheap piece of under spec plastic.0 -
For £50 (net) you are in eBay territory, you need to find a laptop you can live with and improve it.
I have seen some decent Dell units go for £30, CPU upgrade available for £20 and SSD for £45, later can take ram to 4gb or 8gb.
It does not matter that it is Dell, more about what CPU and whether is is easy to upgrade.
You might want to put an ad on Freecycle.org, there you pay nothing other than cost of collecting it locally
The OP wanted something quickly, not a long term project.0 -

Thank you all.
Sorry I took a long time coming back, I waited till the next weekend I guess and nice to find all these replies. I don't think a Rasberry is for me.. too technical???

Why bother with spending that much and hoping to sell it if you already have a monitor and keyboard etc.
Just spend £50 or less on a Tower unit. Over a year, that will cost just over £4 per month, minus whatever you manage to recoup on selling it.
