Hi
Done it again. No drinks tonight. (Mind you I was driving a couple of hundred miles this evening so hardly likely). But pleased none the less.
2/8 please.

Morning all, 21/21 for me today0

y15 for November please. On holiday so having a drink with my meal but trying to be sensible - worked earlier on in the week but last night I poured a glass too early whilst cooking and really should know that means I drink more. I intend to not drink last two days of the month - who wouldn’t want a broom!
Shaggy again continued thanks for running the totals and keeping us on the straight and narrow- much appreciated. To reiterate what others have said this thread does help, virtual friends appearing very wise and being able to be open on line, when in real life that is not always possible or helpful, makes such a difference.0 -
26/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0

Hi Can I join in please?
I too blamed a stressful job, spent last 3 years of working life working away from home and got into bad habits with booze due to boredom of an evening. Fast forward to being 2 years (early) retired and I still have the bad habit.
I am female, aged 57 and quite small so my body really cannot cope with the amount I have been drinking and it is making itself heard!
Really going to do something about it now as it also affects my mood and energy levels.
I am currently at 16 days AF for October and would like to go for 20/31
And 24/30 for November please0 -
Just to add that I have been reading for a while and taking on board all the helpful advice, thank you all
And to put this in perspective in the months March to September I probably only managed 2 days AF per month although some days would be one drink only0 -

Wow, you have done really well in the last few months. I seem to have gone the other way and been steadily increasing. Desperately trying to get it down again now.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Welcome Paspatur :hello:
Declaring early for tonight on 13/14 and setting a target for November of 14 please Shaggy0 -
Good afternoon everyone,
Thank you all for your comments, there is probably a lot of truth in your wise words. I will monitor and try going back to yoga ( sports injury allowing). I have a lovely old dog who I adore, and although I walk him daily albeit slowly we don't go far due to his infirmity I do get fresh air which I agree helps. Anyway, I digress 3 more days please Shaggy. Target for Nov, 10 please.
Thanks again,
Arkers x0
