Not quite but think I know what to do now, thank you
  • Hi Everyone especially Mudbath and marcusjr

I've had a strange week. It was my first birthday i can remember where I didn't drink - and while it felt good to ignore the cravings I would be lying if I said it was easy.

On the plus side I had all my kids at home for the weekend which was lovely and can't wait for DS1 to be on his university xmas break so he can come back again.

HoneyBear - I took the test you posted and did it as if I was still drinking and got a score of 19  . That is clearly enough reason for me never to go back to alcohol!

30/30 for me Shaggy and a target of 31 for December please

It's always great at the end of the month to see the totals rolling in. Well done all:T. Every AFD counts especially as many of us (me included) might have joined this thread starting from zero!

I much prefer Happy to Merry as a Christmas salutation HB! :xmassmile

Sorry to hear you caved in at 9 o'clock WBF. It happens.:( But it doesn't mean it has to happen every night.;):D Excuse me being nosey but is your DH supportive of your efforts to cut down? I'm asking because if you're drinking because he's away, what happens when he's at home?

When you quote (or multiquote) paspatur. It's important that you don't accidentally lop of any of the brackets and bits at the beginning or the end of the message. This can be easily done if you do some cutting of the original post.:o

I think this must be one of my best ever months. Considering it's just 30 days and I had a week's holiday I'm very pleased with myself.:D

    16 AFDs please Shaggy.

  • Happy December everyone.

    Scraping 3 smilies! 21/24

Very pleased to be honest. Scaled down the social world dramatically recently but December is December so will be out a little bit like most people.

16/15 for November please Shaggy - and like others the thought of the target exceeded smilie helped last night when a half bottle of wine was jumping up and down calling to me. Yes I really am that shallow.

Can’t believe it is 1st December - gulp and barely a present in the house. May be a very busy time for my I Pad and a certain on line retailer as I am not sure I can face a visit to the high street. At least here although it is cold it is bright and that makes such a difference to my mood from those long grey dark days.
