Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Freedom beckons - welcome to the post! As you've seen there is lots of help here, you've made a fantastic start. It's a big decision you have taken, but stay in touch (even if it does seem like a tumbleweed day). Somehow putting things in writing helps and there is always someone with some good advice on this page.
Can I call in early for tomorrow night (!) and go for 4/5 AF days please.0 -
I'm hungover and thinking about my drinking. I decided to take a look at this year month by month compared with last year and see what I could learn. Then I thought be brave be open and share on here too.

23 More days this year than last year already
If I set a really low December target I can hit target more months - probably not the right takeaway message
Targets high low and TF can all go sailing past with me!
I scrape feantically toward a target in a rush at the end of whatever period - excitement perhaps?
I haven't exceeded a target in this time even with a new badge to earn from the amazing Shaggy
Wanting the banana badge for the year really made it happen for me for 3 months - then I derailed myself. it seemed too hard to be going for it for another 3 months
If I were a sensible, consistent person I could have hit 150 with a target of 13 each month and 7 at Christmas
My best months this year have also been my best since I moved to London in the 1990s.
Builders are bad for my drinking!0
