Good afternoon everyone, thanks to Holly for starting the thread and hugs to anyone that needs one.
I've had a really lazy day as I am feeling exhausted so have mainly lounged about reading.
My Dad popped by and I made us Welsh Rarebit for lunch as I had a tub of white sauce in the fridge and loads of cheese. Definitely one of these dishes that is tastier than the sum of it's parts.
It's been really windy all day and it's just started raining so I'm hoping it's enough of a downpour that I cam miss watering the garden, with all my plants in pots and baskets things dry out really quickly when it's windy.
I hope everyone has a good evening x0 -
I seem to either have my basic mobile phone in my bag but not charged or else it is charged up but not in my handbag. Neither option is really useful so I have just got the phone charging up again.
Some of the family are coming round tomorrow for lunch and can't decide what to cook as the weather is so changeable. Finally decided to make a chicken and mushroom lasagne but had to pop out for lasagne sheets, milk, cheese and salad. A load of washing has nearly dried so will take that inside soon and get it put away.
Because of trying to keep everywhere else tidy my bedroom has become a dumping ground  It was so bad I could not even think where to begin and dreaded even trying. Eventually I kicked myself up the bum and reminded myself that I could cope with just about anything for ten minutes at a time. I spent most of the day going to and fro for a few minutes then sitting down for a bit, checking bank details and e mails etc.
I now have towels and bedding folded in the airing cupboard, pictures in the integral garage and clothes sorted out and put away.
I now have clear surfaces and can dust and hoover later tonight and hopefully will not have to worry if the bedroom door swings open.

I hope things get better but it must be very wearing on you.

Evening all. We haven't had any rain today but, by heck, it's feeling a bit chilly and autumnal tonight! Surely we haven't lost summer already?!
I'm wanting a new phone too GINTOT but keep putting it off. I have had a Nokia Windows Phone for quite a few years and can't decide whether to go for another Windows phone as I know what I am doing with it or go upmarket and not know what I am doing with it! I'm only wanting to change it cos it's so old it has stopped supporting WhatsApp! Such decisions!
Have a nice evening folks xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Evening all,Judi I hope youngest is soon home and on the mend. Any news of Prodigal?
Youngest was discharged this morning. His hand is a bit sore and he is supposed to keep it elevated. He has gone out tonight with his arm tucked into his manbag/pouch thingy instead of his sling. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
