Transfer Number Vodafone to ??? to Vodafone quickly
I am currently on a Vodafone contract which is at the end of contract. I have found a new deal I want, but is on Vodafone network again but through a different shop. The only way to get the deal is for a new contract.
What I propose to do is the follows:
1) Request PAC codes from Vodafone for current numbers. (I actually have these already.)
2) Transfer existing numbers to PAYG. I have Orange and O2 PAYG sim cards to hand I could use. What network would be the quickest?
3) Wait x days. (Not sure how long I need to wait?)
4) Take out new contract with Vodafone with new PAC codes.
To make this a little safer, our current vodafone contracts are in my name, but I propose to put the new contracts in my wifes name.
Can anyone see any holes in my plan? What is the best (quickest) PAYG network to swap to?
Have I got any chance if getting the whole process complete in a couple of weeks, or am I looking at a couple of months?
