BT roam like home Cyprus

Currently on hols in Cyprus. When trying to use data roaming under the Roam Like Home , I assume all I have to do is switch on mobile data and data roaming.....unfortunately, still saying I am offline...but there is a connection to Cyta- voda, the Cypriot mobile network.

Is there something I am missing..?

I have been able to make calls using cyta ...but as mentioned, no internet

You've probably tried restarting the phone..?

You could see if data works on a different network, manual selection in the 'mobile networks' menu.

When near the border beware of connecting to a North Cyprus network, which will not be 'Roam Like at Home'.

FYI ...
The available networks in 'Southern' Cyprus are
Cyta/Voda,
MTN (was Areeba?) and
Primetel (which sometimes shows up as 8020 IIRC)

Roaming agreements change.

The UK network might have deactivated data roaming with that network, leaving it as voice/text only or can even close it off completely.

Try another network and possibly switch try 4G, 3G and 2G to see if data works.
