The lease was granted in 1925 so whilst you could try following any clues from the lessor forward I think it's less likely to bear fruit trying to identify the solicitor who acted and work forward from there.
The copy lease may refer to who drew it up but the odds of the same form being involved now or having records seems slim. Best bet is to ask seller if they aware of who the freeholder is.
Other option is to try the freeholder who 'didn't buy it' to see if they have any info too?
Note - how long is left on the lease?
Hi thanks!there's about 890 years left. Ground rent is only £3.50 per year, so I'm hoping the freehold won't cost alot. After further digging, there appears to be a discrepancy between the drawn up plan showing the borders of the property on the land registry document and the original lease document. The original lease document includes the pavement in front of the house too ...

There can be reasons for that so you'd have to investigate whether the 'pavement' land is registered or not. Something to raise with the seller or your conveyancer to query to try and ascertain whether there is a genuine discrepancy and what the reason(s) might be“Official Company Representative

Hello, I'm buying a house but the sellers need to go through an adverse possession since the driveway wasn't on the title. I'm trying to get an update on the adverse possession application but my solicitors are useless at giving me any proper updates. If I message you the address are you able to check for me?0

Thank you very much for prompt reply.
Unfortunately the conveyancer didn’t perform a priority search. He advised me that RX4 form has been sent to the Landlord and we are currently awaiting their response. There was no explanation as to why this restriction has been applied which was recorded on the Land Registry, two weeks after we signed and completed the freehold purchase! I’m wondering whether this kind of restriction is valid while this restriction post dates our freehold purchase!!
Once again, thank you0 -

Ideally the one allocated and shared with your solicitor. But if you have another that may help us to identify the application“Official Company Representative
