Getting offer after offer on an item around £170 worth.

Postal address says Ipswich, but profile says user is based in Hungary.

Is this abnormal?

After I rejected 3 offers in a row they hit BIN, so I guess it's tough now, I have to send it anyway.

Could be 100s of reasons. They could have a family member who sends their purchases to them. Could be someone who is regularly over in the UK for long periods. They may have moved here but was living there when they set up their Ebay account.

As long as you send to the PayPal address and it is tracked then you will be okay. I have sent plenty of stuff to people to the UK who have a different country on their profile.

I am registered/based in another country but sell on .co.uk. Likewise I buy but my registration address is my home country. I've lived here for the best part of 20 years.

    BTW it is Ipswich.

Well Parcelforce are saying they have returned it to their depo as there was a problem with the address or they couldn't find it. :(

Hope this is just a coincidence and I'm not in for a load of problems.

I contacted the buyer and informed them that parcelforce had an issue and that if they hadn't got a card in the post that they should contact their local depo for assistance.

Not sure what Parcelforce's problem is, I found the address just fine on google maps.

Did you check the address on the Royal Mail address checker before you sent it?

No. I didn't know about that service.

EDIT: Just checked and it shows up fine.

You could try PF and ask what the issue is, or contact them via twitter/facebook to see if they can elaborate.

Happened to me last week. Ordered something from Amazon seller for next day. In all day. No delivery. Checked tracking and parcel went out for delivery that day and then said address issue. On good terms with the Parcel Force driver we normally have and is here a couple times a month. Turned up next day with a different drive than normal. Denied any knowledge of why no delivery day before.

Exactly same thing happened last summer. Parcel Force not covering holidays adequately?
