    2 Cineworld tickets for 'There Will Be Blood' for which Daniel Day Lewis has already won Best Actor in Golden Globe awards. Mark Lawson in today's paper is saying this is the best of the current run of 5* releases (No Country For Old Men, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead)

    Enjoy a free screening of 'Hotel du Nord' at The Fleapit

    dunord.jpgThe Fleapit on Columbia Road will be screening the classic French film 'Hotel Du Nord' by the director of Les Enfants du Paradis,Marcel Carn!.

    The plot goes like this... A young couple, Renee and Pierre, take one night a room at the Hotel du Nord, in Paris. They want to die together, but after having shot at Renee, Pierre lacks of courage and ran away.

    Another customer, Monsieur Edmond, rescues her. When Renee goes out of the hospital, she is hired as a waitress at the hotel. Monsieur Edmond falls in love with her, but Renee is still thinking of Pierre.

    The event is free but visitors are required to buy and enjoy drinks from the bar!

    How to get there

    The nearest tube stations are Old Street and Bethnal Green. If on the bus the 8, 26, 35, 47, 48, 55, 67, 78, 149, 242, 245 and the 388 all serve Shoreditch High Street and surrounding areas.
