Drapersonline.com is delighted to be able to offer its users FREE cinema tickets to The Bucket List, a new film starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.
Corporate billionaire Edward Cole (Nicholson) and working class mechanic Carter Chambers (Freeman) are worlds apart. At a crossroads in their lives, they share a hospital room and discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do before they "kick the bucket" and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are.
Together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and learning to live life to the fullest, with insight and humor. Each adventure adds another check to their list.

Win 2 Tickets to see Overlord at ICA
Our pals at Metrodome are releasing Stuart Cooper’s breath-taking 1975 WW2 classic ‘OVERLORD’ on 1st February at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London.
They are offering 2 lucky FFF members a pair of tickets to an exclusive London Q&A screening of the film. Email hello@filmfriendsforever.com. We will pick a winner at random, and notify early next week.
Winner of the Berlin Film Festival's Silver Bear for Direction in 1975, Overlord is a spectacularly shot meditation on the sacrifice and expendability of soldiers during D-Day, the biggest military operation of all times. Cooper shot the movie with Stanley Kubrick's acclaimed cinematographer John Alcott (Clockwork Orange, The Shining).

This film will be accompanied by a live score from Minima.
Minima’s music is an audacious, 21st-century interpretation of the images of silent films, comprising drums, bass, guitar and cello. Minima use no backing tracks in their performance – it is a totally live experience – the soundtracks evolving organically, each musician adding depth and detail with each performance.

(By the way, how annoying is it that even after the numerous notifications and warnings that this is a thread for codes only and not general chat/questions, people still post asking "any codes for children's movies?" or "any chance of more codes?"??!?! Are they completely brain-dead? Do they seriously think some of us have a massive list of codes which we're holding back, until someone asks us to post them? And why on earth do people post just to say "thanks, I'll be going to the Trocadero on monday"? No one wants to know, just use the flipping thanks button - it's there for a reason!! arrrgh, so irritating, especially for people who are subscribed to the thread!)
Phew!..
